Ontario Recreation District
Our first day of operation was July 1st, 2019. We are a recreation special district that is no longer a department within the City of Ontario. There are 5 board members, and 2 full time employees. Our mission is to provide quality recreation programs for youth and adults in Ontario and the surrounding communities.
If you are interested in attending, our board meetings take place the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at our ORD office.

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Ontario Recreation District, Malheur County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, will be held at Ontario Recreation District Office, 745 SW 3RD Ave. Ontario, OR. The meeting will take place on May 23rd, 2024, at 3:30
p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comments from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 22nd, 2024, at the Ontario Recreation District Office, 745 SW 3rd Ave. Ontario, OR, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.
